It's is all about turning your fighting simulation into an adventure like experience with kind of an open space concept.
Before you start the game, you can fully customize your character looks, gender and colors.
Roam across the streets and pick up a specific stranger to talk to whilst freely roaming the area, and you can just pick up a fight with specific random people on the street, they might even run towards you to engage you.
Carrying a mobile phone, you can chat with Luke and read objectives of your quests.
There will be various mini games spread across the world and you can play to earn rewards and perks!
When you fight main characters of the game, you get to own learn their abilities and this is a big game changer giving you tons of flexibility in combat and navigation.
For example, flying in mid air using Chun Li's scissors kick and let you fly to unreachable areas on high grounds.
You can also go online with your fully customized character with all the skills and fight with real world players anytime.
Story and plot wise isn't exactly top of the class, but it does help to make the game feel more like a Yakuzaish type of game.

In this mode, get involved in a highly evolved combat system with 3 control types - Classic, Modern and Dynamic. They allow you to quickly play at your skill level.

The new Real Time Commentary feature adds all the hype of a competitive match as well as easy-to-understand explanations about your gameplay.

The Drive Gauge is a new system to manage your resources, which has 3 levels, and if depleted, while leave your character stunned when hit.
It's used mainly for executing special moves, parry and defense/offensive counter.
Use it wisely in order to claim victory.

If you're dying to pick up a worthy opponent and show off your customized character, the sports hub is the centre for you to walk around in an enclosed space with other players online and you get to choose practice matches, casual or ranked play, and tournaments.
Once selection is confirmed for online matches, you while be queued up for a fight.
